Home Town: Sacramento. I did live in Virginia for about ten years when I was a kid, but Sacramento’s been home ever since.

Background:
Got
my first drum set at 16 and joined a rock band (Ebyam Pulp was the
name -- I hated it -- it’s maybe backwards) at 19. Time of the big hair
bands and we were out to conquer the world. I’ve played lots of local
clubs but the best will always be the party in a barn, on hay bales.
Greatest musical influence would be Michael Lawson who was an instructor
at Skip's Music. I hated it when I would meet his expectations only to
have him up the bar that much higher. Always pushed me further then I
thought I could go. I’ve been in and out of garage bands most of my life
while earning a living in the 8 to 5. Recently departed the local band Maybe
Tuesday, which played regularly in the Sacramento area, to join Azuar.
It is sometimes difficult to step into an established band member's place
but with this band we clicked from the first rehearsal. Musical influences
range anywhere from Deep Purple to the Yellow Jackets to the
Barenaked Ladies.
